Yoga for Lower Back

~ 10 Minute Yoga & Meditation

Let’s create some space in the lower back and hip area in this 20 minute class and meditation. This is great for anyone experiencing lower back tension and stress, but especially if you sit all day you will will find this helpful. When we sit as often as we do in the west, especially in chairs, we shorten the psoas muscle which attaches to the lower back through the pelvis.

So here I’ve focused on a couple of my favorite stretches that will open up the psoas as well as release the lower back. Enjoy!
