Weekly Pregnancy/Baby Update

Baby’s brain is still constantly growing, they have reached their birth size, and you may be waddling even more depending on how they are sitting in your pelvis.

Yoga Posture

Leaning on birth ball, knees

Many women find laboring on their knees to be preferable. Try this posture, “hugging” the birth ball. Sway side to side or hold steady while you breathe.

Recommended Yoga Class

This class is solely focused on your intuition – your 3rd eye chakra. Our intuition increases during pregnancy as our 3rd eye chakra expands. Physiologically, our pituitary gland actually increases in size during pregnancy! This gland holds a lot of power in our endocrine system and is seen as our intuition center. Intuition and getting connected with yours is SO important during pregnancy. Being able to listen to your inner self/voice can help you make decisions about your pregnancy, your birth, your care during birth, and parenting decisions beyond. “Mother knows best” is a well known saying for a reason! Our intuition builds so that we know best how to care for our abbies. But you can’t use this power if you don’t know how to listen to it! Use this practice to begin focusing on your 3rd eye chakra, and begging to listen to that inner voice and trust that it knows best!

*I am constantly updating recommended classes as I add more yoga classes to my YouTube library! Check back often for updates!

**Every body, woman, practice, and pregnancy is different. If the suggested class for this week does not suit you this week for any reason, please feel free to look for a different one on my YouTube channel. Trust your body and listen to your birth team!

Journal Prompts

Surrender requires observation and action. As you prepare yourself for birth, can you observe and go with the flow – and then take the next indicated action? What other work do you need to do to prepare for this?

Please feel free to share your responses below, so we can all help each other on this journey!
