Weekly Pregnancy/Baby Update
Congratulations! You’ve made it to the end of your first trimester! Babies can do some really cool things by now – like suck their thumb and hiccup!

Solar Plexus (Manipura)
Plank – Phalakasana
One of many safe core strengthening postures, plank lifts and engages the deep abdominal muscles. This posture also strengthens the shoulders and activates your power center – the solar plexus chakra.
Recommended Yoga Class
This class is completely reclined, very relaxing if you need a quick 10 minute break! We will work into the hips, so if you are feeling any pain or pressure in the pelvic area, this class may offer you some relief. Some of these postures may help open the hips to prepare you for labor as well. Hip opening postures can also help energy flow through our sacral chakra, our womb space, our creation center. This energy center is where all of our creation (hello baby!) comes into play. This is also our emotional center, so please feel free to be in your feelings! We often hold emotions in our hips, so don’t be surprised if you feel some kind of way as the energy starts to flow!
