Weekly Pregnancy/Baby Update
Your baby’s heart is already beating, parts of her brain have started to develop, and you may begin to show signs and symptoms of elevated hormones – bring on the nausea and fatigue!
Yoga Posture
Anjali Mudra
Anjali means “divine offering” in Sanskrit. This mudra, or hand gesture, is seen often in various yoga practices and lineages. This gesture is often paired with a greeting, namaste, or used in meditation.

Recommended Yoga Class
This class is for 1st trimester to help you with your nausea. Not everyone experiences this pregnancy symptom, but it is very common. I have found no cures but some definite tools in my yoga toolbox that have helped me deal with this discomfort. Welcome to a nice easy flow where we focus on the breath, create space in our core area, massage the digestive system, and generally let our guts rest. Our entire body is working overtime right now, and that includes our digestive system! Let’s give her a break shall we?
*I am constantly updating recommended classes as I add more yoga classes to my YouTube library! Check back often for updates!
**Every body, woman, practice, and pregnancy is different. If the suggested class for this week does not suit you this week for any reason, please feel free to look for a different one on my YouTube channel. Trust your body and listen to your birth team!
